Why I Built RCKT

April Beasley founded RCKT in 2009 with a simple thesis: the startups with the best products shouldn't lose to the ones with the biggest marketing budgets. They just need the right system.
Her background spans both worlds — global agency strategy for brands like Verizon Business and Cisco through McCann Erickson, The Richards Group, and Publicis Groupe, and deep startup operating experience as a co-founder, head of growth, and marketing mentor.
April has served as a Marketing Mentor at Capital Factory and a Certified Pitch Coach with the SXSW Pitch Accelerator. She's partnered with 100+ startups, guiding founders from seed stage to exit — and the growth system she built for a Y Combinator-backed SaaS platform now serves as the foundation of RCKT's framework.
She builds RCKT for the founder she's been: one who knows what it feels like when the product works but the growth doesn't. Yet.
